Templates for You
to Post Comments to the USDA on the Establishment of a Domestic Hemp Production
Program

Greetings,
everyone, Recently the USDA posted the
Interim Final Rules (IFR) for the Establishment of a Domestic Hemp Production
Program. They have opened up a 60 day
window for all interested parties to make comments on these 161 pages of Rules
and there are some issues with the Rules as written that we need everyone to
comment on to effectuate needed changes to these rules before they are
completely finalized next year. This 60
day window is closed on December 30th. I
have read all 161 pages of the rules and have compiled a Template for you to
use to make it easier for you to file your comments. We need thousands of people to file comments
to make sure the rules are the fairest they can be and the best they can be for
all involved in the nascent Hemp Industry.
I have created both a word file and a PDF file with these comments. The Word File is a Template that can be used
by you to add, subtract, edit and create a custom comment sheet that reflects
your ideas. The PDF file can be used if
you are happy with the comments as written and you just want to post them on
the behalf of the Colorado Hemp Processing Cooperative (CHPC). Because some of the issues referenced in the
comments can only be changed by Congress or the President, we also ask that you
to send comments to your Congressional Representatives/Senators and the
President. We must flood their in-boxes
with these comments to truly make a difference.
When you go to the USDA’s website (posted below) you will see the button
to push to make comments. Once you push
that button, it will take you to a page with a comments section that only
allows comments of 5000 characters. Because
our comments are much longer than that you can go below the comments section
and post the whole document which you will have to save on your
computer/device. You can post the whole
document there. If just posting the PDF
document you cannot alter first, but just post it from where it is saved on
your computer/device on behalf of the CHPC.
Additionally please Forward/Share/Repost this information on all of your
social media platforms so we can get thousands of people commenting, and that
is what we really need to encourage the USDA to make effective changes. The changes we have outlined in our comments
are crucial to the long term success of the Hemp Industry in America and we
can’t express our gratitude adequately to you for your help in making these
changes possible.

I have also posted
the comments on our web site Blog at COHPC.ORG in addition to our Facebook
pages and LinkedIn page. If you see them there please Share them to
additionally reach all of your contacts.

I have created folders with both the Word and
PDF documents on One Drive and in Google Documents and they are available to
anyone that has the links below. The
best way to get to the Templates is to copy the link and paste it into your
browser and it should go right to the Templates. If you have a problem and can’t access them
for whatever reason, please send me an email at duanestjernholm@msn and I will
send you an email with the Templates attached. Thank you for your help in flooding Social
Media Sites with these Templates as well as your email lists.
